You will sit in a soundproof booth with a pair of headphones on and listen for a series of sounds. These sounds will vary in pitch, frequency, and volume. Dr. Emberlin will ask you to signal each time you hear a sound, this will be charted on your audiogram.
We will also conduct a speech recognition test to determine if your hearing loss has affected your ability to hear and understand certain words. Dr. Emberlin will walk you through each step of the hearing exam so you feel educated and comfortable.

We can make custom ear mold impressions of your ear canal for optimally fit hearing aids or hearing protection. The process is quick and painless, a soft silicon material is gently placed into the ear and allowed to set for a few minutes, capturing the exact shape and contours of the ear.
